These sessions work beautifully for toddlers and young children who enjoy creative activities like painting. The goal is to capture natural interaction between mom and child.
This session could accommodate up to 3 children. A different creative or movement-based experience might be better suited for more children, depending on their ages.
All painting materials and supplies will be provided. You simply arrive ready to enjoy the experience with your child.
Neutral tones such as soft denim, white, cream, and earth tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on connection and creativity. Please refer to my style guide boards above for inspiration.
These sessions take place at Denver Photo Collective, a beautiful natural-light studio in Denver, Colorado.
While the experience is shorter than a full session, these are designed to feel more like a creative motherhood experience rather than a traditional mini session.
Yes! If you like, we can spend 5 minutes in the beginning capturing sweet moments of you all with a timeless, studio backdrop.
Since these sessions are still relatively short, I don’t recommend an outfit change during the session. I do however recommend a change of clothes for after so you don’t need to worry about transferring paint into your car.
That is entirely up to you! We will be using washable paints so you don’t need to worry about ruining your clothes. If you’re concerned that the paint may not wash out – I’ve not had this issue! – then you could always wear a tasteful art smock over your clothes whilst you create.
Yes. A full gallery will be provided to you so you can select your favorites. You can also choose to purchase additional images or your entire gallery if you wish.
